About
United We Stand Established successfully in 2015. United We Stand was successfully established in 2015. The sacrifices made by our soldiers and their families for the nation will never be forgotten, and as Indians, we feel it is our duty to offer assistance in any way possible to help the soldier's families who are going through hardships. Additionally, United We Stand firmly believes that our dedication and commitment are essential for social work. Consequently, we are involved in various social activities.
Vision
At United We Stand Foundation, we envision a transformative future where marginalized communities rise as leaders, shaping their destinies, women empower, educate and inspire other women and generations to come, children from tribal communities blossom, unlocking their limitless potential, youth joining defence forces to protect their motherland. Adivasi communities flourish, preserving their heritage and culture. In the coming decade, we aim to extend our support to soldiers and martyr families, providing financial assistance to help them secure a stable future. We will work towards ensuring that their sacrifices are honored and their families are not left behind. Our foundation is committed to providing financial as well as educational support, and healthcare services to the families of martyrs. Additionally, we strive to establish a support network to address any challenges faced by serving soldiers and veterans, offering every possible assistance to uphold their dignity and well-being,and organize programs that will motivate youth to join defence forces. We also aim to make women and girls lead with confidence, free from violence and inequality; rural communities flourish with access to quality healthcare and social services; and children, especially girls, excel in schools and beyond. We are determined to break barriers, challenge norms, and unleash human potential cultivating compassionate leaders, innovative solutions, and a collaborative spirit. Our vision is to ignite a movement that resonates across generations, inspiring a brighter tomorrow.
Work
We provided financial assistance to the families of the martyrs (the 18 soldiers who were killed in the URI terror attack in September 2016). In the same year, we visited rest homes and orphanages to learn about the challenges the management faces in running them, and we helped them to by donating grain/foodstuff, educational-academic the items, clothing, and money. We organised a Tree Plantation Program again this year, and we also provided the necessities of life to the poor people in the area, as well as celebrating their children's birthdays by organising Roti day and Cake day in the slums.
