Diwali Celebration at Juvenile Home. While many of us celebrate Diwali the festival of lights with our loved ones, there are thousands of children in Juvenile Homes who often miss out on the warmth and joy of the festive season. With a heartfelt intention to light up their lives, United We Stand Foundation decided to celebrate Diwali 2020 with the children at the Juvenile Home in Nashik.Our dedicated team visited the facility with one mission to bring smiles and a sense of belonging to these children. We began by distributing traditional Diwali sweets, including 100 kg of Gulab Jamun and 100 kg of Shira, as a special festive treat. The joy on the children’s faces was priceless as they relished these sweets, many of them experiencing such celebrations for the first time in years. To make the occasion even more memorable, our volunteers organized interactive games and fun activities, creating a space of laughter, bonding, and shared happiness. The initiative was more than just a celebration it was a reminder that every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserves love, joy, and the chance to feel special.At United We Stand, we believe in the power of compassion and connection. This Diwali celebration wasn’t just about sweets and games it was about kindling hope, creating memories, and encouraging these children to believe in their potential and a brighter future.
