Flood Relief Drive in Raigad and Chiplun - 2021 In July 2021, the devastating floods in Raigad and Chiplun caused massive destruction, leaving thousands of families homeless, helpless, and in dire need of support. As a responsible and compassionate organization, United We Stand Foundation felt it was our moral duty to step in and support our fellow citizens without relying entirely on government aid. Recognizing the urgency and gravity of the situation, we swiftly organized a flood relief mission to reach the most affected areas. With the help of our dedicated volunteers, we arranged and transported essential supplies including food packets, clean drinking water containers, clothes, hygiene kits, and basic medical necessities directly to flood affected families in Raigad, Chiplun, and nearby villages. Our team worked tirelessly, often navigating through tough terrain and blocked roads, to ensure that relief reached even the most remote and underserved communities. We also coordinated closely with local authorities and police officials to streamline the distribution process and maximize the impact. Through this mission, we were able to support hundreds of families during a time of unimaginable hardship, offering not just aid, but hope and humanity. The experience reaffirmed our belief that during natural disasters, collective action is crucial , and that when communities come together with a shared purpose, recovery becomes a reality.
