SSB Workshop at Artillery Centre, Nashik, With the vision to empower and guide India’s youth towards a career in the armed forces, United We Stand Foundation, in collaboration with the prestigious Artillery Centre, Nashik, successfully organized a 3 day intensive SSB Workshop for its volunteers who aspire to serve the nation in uniform. Recognizing the Services Selection Board SSB interview as one of the toughest and most competitive selection processes in the world, the foundation took a step forward to equip its future warriors with the right guidance, training, and mentorship. A total of 50 dedicated UWS volunteers participated in the workshop, which was held inside the Artillery Centre premises. The workshop was designed to comprehensively cover all aspects of the SSB interview, including: SSB Screening Tests, Psychological Assessments, Group Testing Officer (GTO) Tasks, Personal Interviews, and Physical Fitness evaluations. Throughout the training, volunteers received personalized feedback and mentorship from experienced assessors and defence personnel, helping them identify their strengths and improve on specific areas to boost their overall performance. The workshop commenced with a powerful opening address by Brigadier A. Ragesh, Commandant of the Artillery Centre, who shared insights on leadership, discipline, and the values of a true soldier. The sessions were further enriched by the presence of senior officers including Col. Rohit Verma and Col. Sampath Gopalan (Ex-SSB Psychologist), whose expertise proved invaluable to the aspirants. Also present were Mr. Sagar Matale, President of UWS Foundation, and Mr. Rahul Kakad, who supported and motivated the participating members throughout the workshop. One of the most unique and enjoyable highlights of the workshop was the visit to the Artillery Centre’s Golf Course on the final day. Here, volunteers were introduced to the sport by professional instructors. They not only learned the basics of golf through a dedicated lecture session but also participated in a hands on practice round, promoting both physical well-being and mental relaxation.This SSB Workshop was not just a training program it was a transformational journey for young patriots preparing to dedicate their lives to the service of the country. By providing such holistic and structured opportunities, United We Stand Foundation continues its mission to build a generation of confident, skilled, and patriotic youth ready to lead and protect India.
