In celebration of International Women’s Day, United We Stand Foundation, in collaboration with Nashik Ploggers, hosted a vibrant and meaningful event centered around the powerful theme: “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress.” This initiative focused on two deeply interconnected goals that is women empowerment and environmental sustainability. The event was not just a celebration, but a platform to honor the incredible strength, achievements, and journeys of women who continue to break barriers in society. A special felicitation ceremony was held to recognize some of Nashik’s most inspiring women leaders. Esteemed speakers such as Mrs. Deepali Chandak, C.A. Rashmi Lonikar, Riya Panjwani, Captain Anushree Verma, and Akshata Deshpande graced the occasion with their presence, sharing personal stories of resilience, challenges overcome, and milestones achieved. Their words sparked a wave of positivity and motivation among the audience, especially the young women present, who saw firsthand the impact of determination and courage. Reinforcing the values of community care and social responsibility, a blood donation camp was also organized as part of the event, with 35 conscious citizens stepping forward to donate blood and support this life-saving cause. The program concluded with the heartfelt felicitation of 35 women ploggers and 35 United We Stand volunteers, recognizing their selfless contribution to environmental and social initiatives across the city. This Women's Day celebration stood as a testament to the power of collective action, the importance of honoring women's voices, and the necessity of investing in inclusive growth for a better tomorrow.
