Mahila Swaraj Yatra

The Mahila Swaraj Yatra, organized in Nashik, was a significant and socially impactful initiative conducted in solidarity with a rape victim from Kolkata, symbolizing collective outrage against crimes committed against women and a united demand for justice. The Yatra aimed to raise public awareness about women’s safety, dignity, legal rights, and societal accountability, while sending a strong message that violence against women will not be tolerated. The rally saw large-scale participation from citizens across Nashik, including women, students, social activists, volunteers, and concerned members of civil society. Participants marched peacefully with banners, placards, and slogans calling for justice, gender equality, and systemic reform. The presence of diverse sections of society reflected a growing public consciousness and collective responsibility toward women’s issues. Through disciplined organization and responsible execution, UWS ensured that the Yatra remained peaceful, inclusive, and impactful, amplifying the voice of justice while maintaining dignity and order. The Mahila Swaraj Yatra stood as a strong testament to UWS’s commitment to women empowerment, social justice, and the protection of human rights, reinforcing its role as a bridge between public sentiment and organized civic action.
