United We Stand Foundation Presents - The Sabarmati Report

In a world that often moves too quickly to pause and reflect, United We Stand Foundation took a powerful step toward truth, awareness, and societal introspection by organizing a free public screening of the thought provoking film The Sabarmati Report. Held on 17th November 2024 at Divya Adlabs Theater, Nashik, this special event was not just a cinematic experience, but it was a call to understand, remember, and learn. The film delves deep into the Godhra train burning incident of 2002, one of the most heart-wrenching and controversial events in India’s contemporary history. With sensitivity and courage, The Sabarmati Report presents the untold truths and human stories behind the tragedy, inviting viewers to confront the complexities of justice, communal harmony, and truth in a diverse nation like ours. Our aim was clear: to create a platform where people could engage with history, question narratives, and cultivate awareness about events that have shaped our collective conscience. In doing so, we also hoped to spark conversations that promote empathy, unity, and peaceful coexistence. The overwhelming turnout from the people of Nashik reaffirmed our belief that society still values truth and is willing to stand together in the face of historical injustices. Your support gave this event its soul so Thank you for showing up with open minds and compassionate hearts. As an NGO committed to education, justice, and community empowerment, we believe that true change begins with awareness. Events like these are our way of planting the seeds of critical thinking and social responsibility in the hearts of citizens.Let us always strive to build a future where tragedies like these are remembered not with bitterness, but with resolve to never let history repeat itself. Where we prioritize truth over division, harmony over hate, and courage over silence. Jai Hind!
