Shivjayanti Celebration - The Inception of a Movement The journey of United We Stand Foundation began with purpose, pride, and deep-rooted cultural reverence. What better occasion to take our first step than Shivjayanti, a day that honors the legendary warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja symbol of courage, leadership, and service to the people. As our inaugural initiative, we organized the Shivrajyabhishek Program, celebrating not just the greatness of the Maratha king but also sowing the seeds of our commitment to society. Essentials were donated to nursing homes and orphanages, reflecting our core value of giving back to the underserved. That same year became a milestone for UWS, as we established a well-structured team, assigning specific roles and responsibilities to every member, supported by a set of values and a strong operational framework. It was more than the birth of an organization it was the birth of a movement. Adding a powerful message to the festivities, we organized a bike rally, not for recreation but for awareness to emphasize the importance of keeping our cities clean and preserving our heritage forts. During this rally, the UWS team actively participated in cleaning over 16 forts, desilted water channels, and worked to ensure the natural inflow of water to these historic sites. This celebration not only marked our beginning but also cemented our commitment to social service, environmental preservation, and cultural pride. Shivjayanti will forever be etched in our hearts as the foundation upon which UWS was built. Jai Hind!
